Today we went into the sales office to ask our staff what they frequently get asked on the phone when customers call. Here at Wrights, we are continuously trying to improve our customer experience, and all of the feedback we get goes toward the goal of serving our customers the Wrights way.
We are continuously trying to improve our customer experience.
So we asked Anthony Rodriguez to answer a few questions. Anthony is one of the people who you will first speak to when you call Wrights Impact Window & Door, always friendly and helpful he told us a few of the things he gets asked to explain.
- What are Impact Windows & Doors?
Impact Windows and doors are called Impact-resistant windows and doors which gives us a clearer idea of what they do straight away. They combine sturdy frames with impact-resistant laminated glass and a silicone glazing process to keep the glass from coming away from its structure. Impact-resistant glass consists of two panes of glass bonded together with a unique transparent plastic layer (Polyvinyl butyral). Wind-borne debris or an intruder may damage the outer glass on impact, but the integrity of the inner layers is kept intact, stopping intruders and destructive winds from coming into your home. Replacing traditional windows with impact windows will help energy efficiency, and reduce exterior noise levels as well. - Do you supply one window or door?
The simple answer is yes we can provide quotations very quickly for single impact windows or doors. We supply front doors, sliding glass doors, french doors, and most types of windows, we always give a free estimate. - Do you offer finance?
We have many types of finance available including PACE financing based on home equity, and NOT credit rating. We also offer interest-free loans and terms up to 30 years! Contact sales to discuss funding your project. - Do you supply building permits?
We have a staff member in the office, Laura Moss, our Director of Permitting. We obtain and arrange all permits for our customers to make things as comfortable as possible. Laura is very knowledgeable in this field and has a lot of experience. If you think you might not be able to get a permit, speak to Laura, she may be able to help.
- Do you deal with the HOA?
We also have a specialist in the office for gaining approval from your Condo committee or homeowners association. Naomi Mullen is responsible for this and, will take care of everything for you.
- What is your current lead time on installs?
We currently have a lead time of 12 weeks. If you require HOA approval, it would be 12 weeks from the point they approve your application. Custom product lead time may vary based on demand. Call us to get a more precise estimate. - How long does an install take?
This is difficult to be precise about, but typically a small door or window install could be as short as one day, or up to three days depending on the amount of work required. Sometimes on an older property, we may uncover issues when we remove the old windows or doors, but it will not usually hold things up. Our installers are very experienced, so there isn’t much they have not seen before. Â
